Celebrating Chinese New Year at Vale and Downland Museum

** FREE EVENT **

Come and join us and our Eastern friends for a fun day celebrating Chinese New Year. ALL WELCOME.

We will begin the session at 10:00 with a LIVE CHAT with school children over in Taiwan.

We will then learn about The New Year Beast and the Year of The Pig through Interactive storytelling by one of our expert readers plus there will be dragon dancing to take part in, a giant board game of the legendary animal race and lots of arts and crafts to take part in such as paper-cutting (a traditional Chinese art) and making Lanterns.

Drop in and out throughout the session - you don't have to arrive or stay for a certain time - this is a Drop in event and you can stay as long as you like.

Let us know you're coming by clicking yes to attending.

We look forward to seeing you!

NB: Books will also be available to purchase from the temporary shop on the day.

Join us at

The Vale and Downland Museum, Wantage.

On Thursday 21st February.

The fun starts from 10:00 until 14:00 pm.
