Artwork by the schoolchildren of Taiwan will be displayed throughout the event. The work will include original artwork by Taiwanese children and teenagers who use their drawings to illustrate and communicate their lives, buildings, hometown and customs.

On Saturday there will be Live Video Sessions with an opportunity to talk with children, families and teachers in Taiwan. From 10 am on 22nd June.

Various activities for families to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival including:
• Storytelling: the traditional story of ‘Dragon Raises His Head’.
• Make your own Paper Dragon Boat and race it with others.
• Colouring: make a beautiful Chinese Dragons picture.
• Learn how to draw a dragon with our artist from Taiwan and do Chinese writing.
• Find out your own Animal Zodiac and its story and draw one yourself: this activity will be shared with Taiwanese children.

The entire event will be in the format of ‘Drop In’ sessions and the Programme will repeat every two hours from 11 am.
