Su Yen was honoured as a contributing editor for one of the biggest national educational publishers in China. The publishers specialise in producing national textbooks for primary schools and children's magazine in China. During 2013 to 2014 Su Yen contributed a series of monthly articles for their textbook content development as well as articles about primary school students' life in England and Vancouver.
