I just finished reading the Horses book out of the Animal Wisdom series again. I love it just like the first time round, and know that I will come back to it again for more than one reason.
First, the illustrations are as with all Snowflake Books to die for. Ok, at least to dream about and be massively inspired. Something I found really interesting about ‘Dear Su Yen’ was how it showed cultural differences. For example, there was a conversation between Su Yen and her English friend where they discussed the differences between traditional English and traditional Taiwanese funerals, something I’d never really thought about before.
